And wait, doing that twice?

Impossible… right?

WRONG.

For those of you new to my story, my name is Eric Anderson.  I’m just your average, ordinary 20-year old college student trying to live life one day at a time…and maybe change the world while I’m at it. Going along with that, I have become heavily involved with Indiana University Dance Marathon (IUDM), which has raised more than $8.5 million for Riley Hospital for Children. In the summer of 2009, I decided to combine my triathlon background and love for IUDM by tackling the challenge of Ironman Wisconsin. Motivated by the millions of lives impacted by Riley and the miracles that happen there every day, I put my body through a rigorous 21-week training plan. On September 13, 2009, I officially became the IronIUDMan, raising more than $4000 in the process.  This summer, I decided to do it all over again. I took my training to the French and Italian alps while studying abroad in Florence, and, on August 29, 2010, I completed Ironman Louisville in a time of 13 hours, 8 minutes, and 19 seconds. Fighting 90+ degree heat and severe dehydration, I was once again able to push my body to the limit in order to raise awareness for the kids. Feel free to take a look around my brand new blog/website, and if you feel so inclined, please DONATE to the cause that has forever changed my life.  After all, it’s for the kids!  ;-)
